Intermission

Some weddings have a cocktail hour. We have an intermission. An awkward hour, if you will.

Because we have to work with the winter park schedule, there’s going to be close to three hours between when we leave the ceremony and when we can arrive at the restaurant. You’re welcome to use that time however you want, but we know not everyone is getting a hotel room, and therefore not everyone will have somewhere to kill time in comfort.

Thankfully, we were able to reserve a meeting space at the Holiday Inn Express Brockton (website)(map) – the same hotel where we reserved a block of rooms, so if you’re staying there, it will be extremely convenient. If you’re not staying there, it’s only about 20 minutes from the park and 10 minutes from the restaurant, so still pretty convenient.

If you need somewhere to thaw out and hang around until dinner, this is it. It will not be fancy or particularly well organized. We’re going to try to have some drinks and light snacks, and maybe some board games. Presumably there will be chairs. If you have an idea for something to drink, eat, and/or do, please bring it – we need all the help we can get.
